More Charts, More Flexibility, More Power!
Yes, you read that right!
After months of development, we’re thrilled to announce that Pine BI 2.0 is here!
It was a long journey. This update took almost as long to develop as the original version of Pine BI - but it was worth it. We wanted to make Pine BI the easiest and most intuitive tool to work with. Thanks to the incredible feedback from our amazing customers, we implemented many features that weren’t part of our original plan.
So, what has changed?
More visualizations: We’ve more than doubled the number of visualizations. There are now over 50 individual visualizations available, including advanced charts like Stacked Waterfall and Cycle Plot.
Improved user interface: Visualizations are now created through an intuitive user interface that greatly enhances the user experience:
You can customize your chart before creating it to fit your specific needs. Examples include creating charts vertically or horizontally (column or bar charts), showing variance as a percentage or as an absolute value, choosing the type of markers or lines, enabling dynamic colors, turning on/off chart elements.
A short description of each selected chart helps you understand which option is best for your use case. It also includes a link to additional resources and guidelines on our website for the respective visualization.
A dynamic preview of the selected chart shows how the visualization will look based on the options you’ve chosen.
You can select from six different color palettes or mix and match. If you have a corporate palette active in your workbook, visualizations can be created directly using it.

Introducing Pine BI Elements: Pine BI Elements is a brand-new group of visualizations that allows users to create dynamic chart arrows and annotations directly within existing charts. These are especially useful in presentations to highlight performance and key events. Like all our visualizations, Pine BI Elements are dynamic and will automatically update if the underlying data changes.
Pine BI Elements: Create dynamic chart arrows & annotations in Excel & PowerPoint Updated Chart Editor - more user-friendly and simple to use when adjusting the scales of one or multiple charts simultaneously.
